DIFFERENTIATION

In an ever-changing and crowded marketplace, story is the one unique element companies can use to differentiate themselves. The Power of Story will focus how brands and organizations use story to find their unique voice and provide audiences with inspiring content.

"Story is important because it connects humanity. We listen, learn and grow from storytelling."  Barbara Ponce, American Honda Motor Co, Inc.

BARBARA PONCE, AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO., INC.

JAMA’s keynote speaker is Barbara Ponce, Manager of Corporate and Diversity Advertising, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Ponce led the production of the automaker's "Dream the Impossible" documentary film series.  The films use the talents of Oscar-nominated and award-winning filmmakers to celebrate scientists, racecar drivers, visionaries and athletes who have had the courage to turn failure into success, and transform dreams into a better future.  Ponce has over 15 years experience in automotive marketing.  Currently, she oversees strategic planning, creative development, media plans, digital and social media, sponsorships and experiential marketing.  Ponce received a degree in English from California State University. Watch the latest film in the series (and see all the films) in http://dreams.honda.com/trailers/the-undying-dream/

NATALIE HALPERN, AWARD-WINNING PRODUCER
